I was saved when I was a freshman in college. The Lord has been so sweet and so precious to me since then. I should say that He is the most precious One to me. I love Him and I love reading His word.
Joining Christian Students helped broaden and enrich my knowledge and experience of Him. I enjoy having Bible studies with fellow Christians. Lately I have been reading a book with a friend (a senior Biology student) on the all-inclusiveness of Christ. Christ is not just the Lamb or the manna or the smitten rock. He is the good land, the land flowing with milk and honey. For this it’s not enough just to pursue Him by myself. I need fellow Christians to pursue Him and apprehend His richness, vastness, and unlimitedness. The children of Israel entered the good land together, labored together, conquered the enemies together and offered their produce for God’s satisfaction together.
Joining Christian Students also helped to strengthen my prayer with the Lord. I love getting together with other Christ-loving students, opening up my situation and petitioning the Lord together. It’s such a strengthening and support. I thank the Lord for placing me on a campus where I can grow in the Lord day by day!
